ABOUT JADE
Jade - John Alex Dean Windell has been creating art since a child. Always observing the world around him, he would ask his mom for gum wrappers in church so that he could draw what he was seeing and what he felt -- he just couldn't wait to express himself.
That desire to express continues today as Jade creates not only colorful and large unique paintings but also objects and furniture from items he finds in his everyday life -- items that would otherwise be thrown away.
Jade previously had an art gallery in Boulder and now shows his art privately in his wonderful home studio and gallery.
Working in a variety of media - metal, stone, wood and on canvas, Jade's works are as interesting as the stories he has about them.
Alway looking and always creating, this artist continues to mature and develop his own unique style. Even his studio is a work of art - designed with objects and materials that Jade encounters in his everyday life.
